The myth of Avalon: The history of the house lies in the myth of the Knight of the Rose who became famous among the knights and the local people and became part of the history of the island. The knight was from a well known family and contributed to the victory of the knights when the medieval city was besieged by the great army of the vizier in an attempt to conquer Rhodes in 1480.
