The hotel is located in a historical building with more than 200 years of history that was fully refurbished in 2007. Guests are treated with care and with great attention to detail. The members of staff personally see to all guest needs during their stay. It is an excellent choice for the independent traveller looking to discover the traditional flavours of Madrid. There is a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, lift access to the upper floors, a currency exchange, hotel safe and a cloakroom. Facilities include a TV lounge, café, breakfast/dining room, wireless Internet access, room service and a laundry service (for a fee). Indoor and outdoor parking is available for a fee..The hotel is located in the historical centre of Madrid, less than 50 m from the Plaza Mayor. It offers various public transport options by metro and bus with the nearest metro station, Sol, some 150 m away. Nearby points of interest include the Royal Palace of Madrid and the Prado Museum. Madrid-Barajas Airport is about 14 km away..All rooms are en suite with a shower, bath and hairdryer. Double or king-size beds are available.
