The charming historical hotel is located in the heart of Venice, just a stroll from St. Marks Square and Rialto Bridge, but has a calm, secluded position despite the large number of tourists. In just a few minutes walk the guests can reach the main landings to avail themselves of frequent public transport links, which will take them all over the city, as well as to the other islands of the lagoon (Torcello, Burano, Murano, Chioggia and Lido). Guests will find numerous restaurants and shops on the hotels doorstep and bars and nightlife around a 10-minute walk away. The bus and train stations are both a 15-minute walk away and the nearest beach is about half an hour away on foot. Marco Polo airport is approximately 8 km from the hotel and S. Angelo airport is roughly 20 km away. This family-friendly hotel is housed in an age-old aristocratic house featuring exquisite neo-gothic design, which dates back to 1700. Facilities available at the air-conditioned historical hotel include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, cloakroom, lift access, a cafe, breakfast room and both room and laundry services (fees apply to both). The rooms accurately recreate the old sophistication and style of 1700 Venice. Furniture and upholstery, with esteemed workmanship and fine materials, create highly elegant rooms with warm and striking tones. All the rooms are fitted and equipped with a minibar, direct dial telephone and a safety deposit box. The private bathrooms, with a bath or shower, are supplied with hairdryers. Each room additionally features a double or king-size bed, satellite TV, Internet access, a washing machine, ironing set and individually regulated air conditioning and heating. A private balcony or terrace and a kitchenette with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities are also standard features in all guest rooms.
