IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Since 1 July 2016, the Government of the Balearic Islands has applied a Tax on Tourist Stays on the Islands, in accordance with Law 2/2016 of 30 March. The tax must be paid upon arrival at the hotel. In 2018, the charges and discounts are as follows: ⢠4* Superior, 5* and 5* GL Hotels and Apartment Hotels: â¬4.00 per person, per night Discounts are applied as follows: ⢠A 75% discount is applied for stays between 1 November and 30 April (inclusive). ⢠A 50% discount is applied from the ninth consecutive day onwards for accommodation at the same tourist establishment. The following types of stays are exempt from this tax: ⢠Stays for children under 16 years of age. Cancellation policy * If the booking is cancelled with more than 7 days before the arrival, no penalty; * If the booking is cancelled between 7 and 4 days before the arrival, the hotel charges 1 night as a penalty; * If the booking is cancelled between 4 and 1 days before the arrival, the hotel charges 2 nights as a penalty, * If the booking is cancelled with 24 hours before the arrival, the hotel charges the full amount of the reservation.
